Printable Shark Graphing Activity – includes shark dice!
My son is obsessed with sharks and shark week (and the Sharknado movies). Because of this, Little Sister is interested in sharks. She loves game-like ways to learn, so I made her a fun printable shark graphing activity. You can print the graph as well as the shark dice to use with your kids.

Print the template: Printable Shark Graph and Dice
Cute around the dice. Fold where the lines are dashed. Place glue on the tabs to secure to the undersides of the square next to it. Let dry before using. Alternatively, you could use a tape runner like we used in our Dinosaur Graphing Activity.
How to use the graph:
Roll the dice and mark the corresponding box. This can be done several ways. The page could be laminated for durability. Then kids can mark off the boxes with an X, color it in, or write the number (1-6 for each shark).
If not laminating, kids could still do write directly on the page like mentioned above or use dot markers. However, if you’d like the activity to be reusable, I recommended using counters to mark off each square. Some examples of counters you could use are: stones or glass gems
(both can be found at the dollar store usually), buttons, coins, math counters
, and so on. My daughter used mini fish erasers
I had purchased from the Target dollar spot to go with the ocean theme.
The letters for the word ‘SHARKS’ is left blank so the kids can color it in if they’d like. My daughter wanted to make color teams for each shark so each letter is a color she chose for that column’s shark.
Skills incorporated
