Painting with a Loofah | Paper Plate Pumpkin
Continuing on with our painting with a loofah crafts, today I am sharing how we used our homemade stamps to make a paper plate pumpkin. I like how the loofah gives it a textured look. So far, we have made apples and a pumpkin patch.
See how to make the mini loofah stamps.
How to make the Paper Plate Pumpkin or Jack-o-lantern Craft
Dip the loofah stamp in orange paint. Dab off excess. Stamp the paper plate until the whole thing is covered.
Add a pumpkin stem. We created ours from construction paper.
Leave it as is or turn it into a jack-o-latern by adding a face. In a previous paper plate pumpkin craft we used pumpkin face templates that would be great fo this craft too.
To go along with our pumpkin craft, we read the book Autumn Orange. It all about how the color orange turns everything to autumn. The iilustrations are fun and cute. It’s part of a whole color series that I hope to find more of at the library.
