Crayon Cozy Made From Felt
I love the way this Crayon Cozy made from felt turned out! I made one for my toddler and one for his friend. It makes a great stocking stuffer! I found the tutorial over at Crafty Chic Mommy; I just changed the dimensions a bit. Head over there to see how she made hers.
It’s made with 3 different colors of felt and 2 strips ribbon cut long enough so that it may be tied in a bow when attached to each side of the crayon cozy. You will also need another small strip of ribbon for the inside. This will be sized according to the width of the felt used for the crayon pockets.
My son loves the show Super Why, so I printed an image of Wyatt onto Iron-on transfer paper and placed it on the front of his crayon cozy.
It has crayons and a little notebook that fit snugly inside! My little guy decorated his notebook with stickers.
Here is one I made as part of a birthday present for his friend. I used fabric paint to write the name on the outside.
We embellished it with Spiderman Stickers since his buddy loves Spiderman.
I love that they are super easy to take on the go to use as a distraction at a restaurants, appointments, road trips, and plane rides.
