Healthy Easter Snack for Kids using Carrots
My little guy (4 yrs old) had fun guessing what I was making him for an afternoon snack before I could even finish…. a fun carrot-shaped snack! It’s made from carrots and a pickle making it easy to whip up as a healthy Easter snack for kids.
Counting is something he loves to do, so of course he counted how many carrots made the big one. These are baby carrots, but bigger ones would work too.
For the top of the carrot, I cut a petite dill pickle into thin strips and then arranged them where the top of the carrot would be. My son wanted to eat crackers too, so I placed some around the edges of the plate.
This snack is for an individual, but a giant-sized one for a party would be neat too!
Variations: stack the carrots on top of each other, use whole pickles instead of sliced, or even use broccoli.
