Fun Patriotic Punch and Snack Ideas for Fourth of July Party Fun
Big Brother was beyond excited to drink this simple, layered Patriotic Punch I made for the kids this 4th of July!
How to make the Patriotic Punch
You’ll need:
- 100% red juice
- blue Gatorade
- ice
- clear plastic cups
Our Patriotic kids drink is 100% fruit punch, ice, and Blue Gatorade. Add the ice first, then the juice, and then the Gatorade. Baby Sister was also thrilled to drink hers- I stuck a straw in it & held it for her since she is only 18 months old. She cried when I took it away to quick grab something.

The kids also enjoyed eating this Patriotic-inspired snack idea. I cut up watermelon in pieces and shook sprinkles on top. To make it more patriotic, I used my 2-inch craft punch to cut the 4th of July party printables pictured below. Then I glued them onto Popsicle craft sticks (toothpick or food pick).
Big Brother loves marshmallows, so I stuck the decorated craft sticks in marshmallows. He thought it would be fun to use his decorated craft stick as a fork to eat his watermelon with – so cute! Baby Sister didn’t seem to fond of the marshmallows (can’t say I blame her!), but sure did love them sprinkles!!! Watermelon is by far both their favorite snack.
