Painted Monster Pumpkin – Easy Kid’s Decorating Idea!
This year, my son (almost 4 yrs old) decided to make a blue Monster Pumpkin. He did such an awesome job painting it!
I had him paint 2 coats on. While he was painting, I cut out circles from thin, white cardboard. He stamped each one with a red bingo marker to make a giant eye. He glued them on all over along with some blue warts (pom poms). We glued antennas to the top made with pipe cleaners and yellow pom poms. The nose and mouth are yellow foam stickers. Can you tell that he likes to line things up in a neat, little row? I was surprised that he didn’t place the eyes on that way too! I made the arms- he chose how many and where to glue them. He thought the arms were too scary at first.
He had a fantastic idea and he did such a great job! I found your post through the Playtime linky. Thank you for sharing!
