More DIY Baby Legs!!!
After making my daughter some cute handmade baby legs when she was still a baby {sigh, she is already starting to lose her precious, chubby baby cheeks!}, I thought it would be neat to make some as part of a baby shower gift for a close friend of mine. Baby legs or even toddler leggings in a bigger size are an easy, frugal DIY project! I bought both of these from the dollar store making the total cost $2 + a little bit of thread & about 10 minutes of my time.
Any of the dollar stores are a great place to check for girl’s knee high socks. Just make sure that you examine them closely before tossing them in the cart. I have seen striped ones that didn’t quite line up right among other things. Other places where you may find girl’s knee high socks for cheap are Target, Wal-Mart, & Kohl’s. I have seem them for as little as $2.50 with a huge selection and a much better quality than the dollar stores ones. Christmas is the perfect time to stock up since socks are a popular stocking stuffer!
You can see photos of my daughter wearing the ones I made her in my previous post & you can find an easy-to-follow DIY baby legs tutorial over at Finding My Feet.
Do you know of any great places to find girl’s knee high socks for a decent price? Please share with us in the comments…. Happy crafting!
