Halloween Craft for a 1 year old
My 1 year loves stickers so I couldn’t resist buying Halloween Stickers for her and Big Brother to make crafts with. She absolutely adores learning new words & the stickers made a fun way to introduce some Halloween words to her- pumpkin is her favorite! I also gave her Alphabet Stamps
with all the letters that spell “Happy Halloween” and let her stamp all over her page. She also wanted Big Brother to help her with this part – too cute! For some of the letters, she pressed it in green ink and handed the stamp to him with a huge smile. He thought it was so fun to help her. If only they shared that well all the time… he, he!

We also read the book Clifford’s First Halloween. It takes you on Clifford’s funny adventure on his very 1st Halloween & all his experiences. At the very end of the book all the kids are afraid of the giant hand silhouette that appeared on the wall while they were reading scary stories. They laughed when they found out that it was just Clifford who had gotten himself stuck in a glove.
Our Handprint Clifford Craft would also be a perfect craft for this book! See the Handprint Clifford Instructions here.
Check out the Toddler Halloween Collage Big Brother made when he was 2 years old and the pumpkin he fingerpainted when he was just one – please excuse the awful-looking quality of photos I used to post back when I first started blogging {cringe….lol!}.
Stickers are a great toddler craft! They are wonderful fine motor practice and tons of fun.

Thanks for sharing at the Sunday Showcase. 🙂
