I taped the 2 pieces together and cut one side to form the dragon’s tail. My son colored the dragon’s head with markers…. you can print the dragon puppet from here. All that’s left is taping on the head and 2 Popsicle sticks. Sadly, our dragon didn’t last very long before my little guy ripped it…. lol!
Variation: If you have 2 kids, it might be fun to tape all 4 body pieces together to form one giant dragon puppet. Each kid would have one Popsicle stick to hold onto while parading around showing off their dragon!
This really turned out great! What a fun project… we've never done anything for Chinese New Year, but this is very tempting! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
