A to Z Christmas Words Worksheet and Game Idea
Can you believe the holiday season is soon to be knocking at our door? The last few months of the year seem to fly right by! To get ready for the upcoming Winter season, I am sharing a fun Chistmas activity that’s perfect for classrooms, parties, or even kids who are bored looking for something to do. Besides this A to Z Christmas Words Worksheet being fun like a game, it gets the kids thinking.

How to use the worksheet:
I printed the A to Z Christmas worksheet using our handy HP Envy 7640 All-in-one Printer. Print one for each child.
Ask the kids to write a Christmas word that begins with each letter. Encourage them to try to get as many of the 26 letters filled as they can. Some are super hard, but kids can maybe come up with something clever for those.
Make it harder by having kids play against each other or in teams. If they get the same answer as another player/team, then they have to cross the word out and lose a point. The team with the most points wins. Example: For the letter ‘S’ it is probably more common for others to choose ‘Santa’ or ‘Snow’ as the word. If they think on it a little longer, they may come up with ‘Sleigh’ or ‘Sled’ which are probably less likely to be another team’s pick.
