Merry Navidad! A Spanish and English Children’s Book
Merry Navidad! is a great book for children who are learning both Spanish and English. Villancicos en espanol e ingles, Christmas carols in Spanish and English ~ Everything is written in Spanish 1st and then in English. My husband is Hispanic so it is important for us to incorporate the Hispanic culture into our son’s life in every way possible. He hears his Papa read the villanciocos en Spanish and then I repeat it back to him in English.
A little bit about the book: You will find some of the best-known villancicos from the Spanish-speaking world along with ones that focus on the Mexican tradition of Los Posados and the Puerto Rican anguinaldos. It celebrates events that occur between December 16th and January 6th.
Thanks for the heads up! I have never seen that book. I did not realize that your husband is Hispanic. That is wonderful that he reads to him in Spanish!
That is absolutely wonderful that you're teaching your son both English and Spanish. This sounds like a fabulous book. Thank you for sharing! I'm really glad that you left the link on my Book Fan Friday post. 🙂
Yippee!! There is another BFF participant! I love, love, LOVE books and am always looking for new books to read to Dawson so I really want Book Fan Friday to take off!

I think that is great that you read to your son in English and Spanish. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and don't remember a thing. 🙁 I wish I had learned more so I could teach Dawson, too.
