Toilet Paper Roll Octopus Craft
Isn’t he adorable? I made this Octopus Craft with my son using an empty toilet paper roll. He painted it blue and when it dried, I cut slits going halfway up the tube to make the 8 legs. The legs are curled by wrapping each leg around a marker. Lastly, we glued on googly eyes and drew on a mouth.
This is a great craft for kids to practice learning how to cut with a scissors. My son is still a toddler, but he enjoyed painting it and seeing the final result.
Very cute! We made something similar at the library’s storytime last week. The kids loved making them!!!
Juliet just asked me yesterday if we could make an octopus and I had no idea–this is perfect! We’re doing it tomorrow. 🙂
This is soooo adorable. We made spiders like these but I had never thought to make an octopus. Such a simple idea but super cute! Great idea Mom!
