I saw this super fun Toddler Stomp Painting Activity on the Toddler Toddler website awhile back and instantly knew I had to try it with my little guy. Here are some photos from last week when my son and his buddy enjoyed this fun activity.
Basically, I just poured paint splotches over giant paper (like butcher paper) and then we let the boys stomp/paint with their feet. As you can see from their faces – they loved it!
This was a very messy activity and decided we will try again in the summer, but instead have them wear their bathing suits.
I had a bucket of water, towel, and washcloth waiting for them when they were done but they still had to take a bath right away anyway!
The Finished Masterpiece!
My neighbors were outside and wanted to joining in on the painting fun. They made paintings using sponge sticks.
Update: See our 2nd version of this Stomp Painting Activity here.
