I needed a place to store all of my son’s painting supplies. I had an empty bucket leftover from the modeling clay that was the perfect size for this use. I thought it would be fun to get him involved in the project so I let him paint around the outside of the container. This way he could (eventually) associate his paint creation with what was inside. On the lid of the container, I placed his painted handprints and then wrote “paint supplies” with fabric paint (could use permanent marker or regular paint as well).
