Supplies needed:
- Clean, empty k cups
- Blue tissue paper
- Mod Podge
- Paintbrush
- Black and orange puffy paint
- Hot glue
Instructions:
Begin with clean, dry k cups. Cover the outside in Mod Podge using a paintbrush. Place squares of tissue paper over the k cup and spread more Mod Podge over top. Keep layering until the surface is completely covered and allow it to dry completely.
Once dry, use orange puffy paint to create a beak. Use the black puffy paint to make eyes and feet.
Gather small pieces of tissue paper to create wings. Use hot glue to attach them to each side of the bird.
For a fun pretend play activity, make little bird’s nest or bird houses for the recycled k cup birds.
