Painted Pumpkin Decorated like a Penguin – Kids Halloween Idea
This year, we decided to decorate our pumpkins based on my kids favorite animals. My daughter and I made a puppy princess and my son and I made a painted pumpkin decorated like a penguin. They loved how they turned out! We have them displayed inside our home instead of outside because we love them so much. Read on to see how easy it is to make this painted penguin pumpkin design!

Cut 2 penguin feet from orange craft foam paper and glue to the bottom of the pumpkin in the front.
Fold a small piece of orange craft foam in half. Starting at the folded edge, make an angled cut. Make another angled cut on the opposite side to form a folded triangle. Add glue to one of the triangle flaps and glue under the eyes.

When I first saw it, I didn’t even recognize the pumpkin. I thought maybe it was an eggplant or an acorn squash. That is really cute and creative! I love it. Pinning…
Thanks Theresa! I wish that I could find a better way to prevent the paint from chipping off and showing the orange 🙂
This is the cutest pumpkin ever! And I bet the kids had a blast making them. Pinned!
