Fun Handmade Color Your Own T-shirt Craft





This Color Your Own T-Shirt Craft is such a cute idea! You don’t even need to know how to draw to make it. First, find a plain, white t-shirt in your child’s size. Using fabric paint, you can either draw your own image or trace the outline of a page in a coloring book. You could also print out a coloring page from Kids-n-Fun (any printable coloring page) to use as well. Follow the instructions on the back of the fabric paint for drying – some call for heat setting with an iron. Now your child is ready to color it like a regular coloring page! Be sure to use washable markers. Your child will think it’s so neat to wear their artwork!

To remove colors: throw it in the laundry, wash like normal, and put it away for next time!

I made this one for my 22 month old. It was all scribbles but he still had fun showing off his shirt to Papa when he got home from work. Here is a photo of him wearing his finished artwork.
