Recycled TP Tube Witch Instructions
Start by painting the cardboard tube with green paint.
While the paint is drying, make the crinkled paper hair using the orange construction paper. Cut 5-10 thin strips and fold them accordion-style to make the crinkled hair creases.
Next, it’s time to make the paper witch’s hat. Place the end of the toilet paper roll to trace a circle shape on the black construction paper. Draw a 2nd circle around the first circle to create the rim of the witch hat. Cut out the outer circle shape. When you (eventually) place it on top of the witch’s head, it should be wider. This is the bottom part of the hat.
To make the top part of the paper hat, form a cone shape with small piece of black construction paper. One end should make the pointed top with the other end sized to fit where you drew the inner circle. Either tape or glue the cone shape together and then glue the cone to the black circle shape. Cut a small, thin strip of purple and wrap it around the hat. Glue in place.
Once the green paint has completely dried, glue on googly eyes or draw them on with a black marker. Make a witch nose shape from green paper and glue in place. Draw on a mouth.
Finish the witch craft by gluing the crinkled paper hair near the rim of the cardboard tube. You may need to cut the strips if they are too long. Then just glue the hat to the top of the tube and it’s finished.
