Show kids the fun side of this popular Halloween character and make it a whole vampire themed day. Besides making the crafts mentioned above, you could watch the Hotel Transylvania movies (my kids and I recommended all of them!) and make a handprint vampire. For a fun snack, try making these fun vampire bat treats or these simple vampire doughnuts.

How to make a Cardboard Tube Vampire Craft
First paint the empty cardboard tube with either a skin color or white. Once it’s dry, paint on black hair that comes to a slightly rounded point in the middle.
Next, grab a sheet of black construction paper and cut 2 small triangles for eyebrows. Then take red construction paper and cut out a smile, as well as 2 fang shapes from white paper. Glue the fangs to the smile.
Now you are ready to create the vampire’s face. Glue the eyebrows, fangy smile, and googly eyes to the front of the cardboard tube just below the hair.
To continue, cut a circle from red paper then cut it in half making two semi-circles. Also cut a bow tie shape from the red paper.
Give Dracula his cape by gluing the two semicircles to the back of the tube.
Finally glue the bow tie under his chin.
