This was our 1st year attending a Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Event that our city’s community centers put on for kids as a safe trick or treating option. It was also our 1st Halloween event this year….. so excited for more!!!
My son chose to be Captain America {Captain America Muscle Kids Costume} this year. We bought it from Spirit Halloween store and I think the quality is great. He looks so darn cute in it and loves doing Taekwondo poses for photos while he’s wearing it.
For my toddler girl, I chose theHoney Bee Kids Costume which I purchased from our local Black Cat Costumes Store. She is too precious for words in it! The quality is decent, however, I wished it was sewn a little better; appearance-wise it doesn’t look cheap. The wings are pretty too, unlike some of the other bumblebee costumes I saw which had flimsy, teeny wings. If you purchase the Honey Bee costume for your child, please know that in my opinion it runs slightly on the small side…. at least length-wise. It comes with the antennae, arm cuffs, and black tights as well. I found black & yellow striped knee high socks at the dollar store that went perfectly with her costume and offered a warmer alternative. I just cut the feet off and sewed the cut end under {by folding it underneath first}.
All the kids seemed to get such a kick out of this funny-looking, standing Witch Treat Holder! It is just a little bigger than my 1 year old and ‘hands out’ candy to the kids…. he, he.
Kung Fu Panda made an appearance too!
This was definitely one of the creepiest-looking cars decorated for the Trunk-or-Treat event!
One of my son’s friends dressed up in The Dark Night Rises Batman Costume. He was the only one brave enough to stand and take a photo with the scary guy.
Too cute…. I love their Halloween costumes this year!
