Simple Flower Foot Soak – Spa Activity for Kids
Awhile back, I saw a really pretty flower foot soak that one of my favorite photography bloggers made for her kids. I thought it was so stinking cute and knew my little ones would enjoy it. It’s perfect as a spa activity for kids of all ages.
By the way, are you on Instagram?
I would love to connect with you over there. When I first joined, I saw all these fun 30 day photo challenges and decided to join a color challenge. Every day was a different color. On the day that white was the prompt, I thought the it would be the perfect time to do the foot soak.
How to make this simple spa foot soak for kids:
I grabbed a bunch of white flower petals and laid down a soft, white blanket. The flower petals can be real or fake. In the 1st one, I placed the flowers inside a casserole dish. Any bucket or container would be fine for this activity. When they were finished, they got to step out onto the soft blanket.
You could also add colored bath tablets to change the water color or make it scented for a total sensory experience.
Next. I filled three containers with warm water and bubbles (from our bubble bath bottle). The kids each sat in their little rocking chairs while they let their feet soak. Too cute!
They loved it and thought it was funny. Big brother and I took turns reading books for about an hour. It ended up being a nice, relaxing time together and would definitely do it again!
Have you done a fun spa activity with kids? I’d love to hear about it!
Loved this! We have a date every Friday for a manicure and pedicure… I have an old post written on it too. This reminded me of it. Don’t they just love it!? 🙂
That’s awesome Aysh! We still have yet to do a mommy and me mani/pedi but am excited to see her reaction when we do eventually go. She loves getting her nails painted 🙂
What a fun and creative way to enjoy books together!
And relaxing! Thanks Jodie 🙂
We just had a spa birthday sleepover. Wish I had seen this sooner;)
That sounds like a fun birthday party Thaleia!
Hi Amanda, this spa activity is adorable. What a fun way to spend time with your kiddos! Thanks so much for sharing it at the Love to Learn Linky Party. I hope you will stop by and link up again-the party starts Thursday 🙂
Will do and thanks Katie!
Awww super cute idea! I would love to do this even for myself and I am 25! Haha!
By the way, I am so glad you and I are both co-hosting the Betwitchin Projects each week–very excited to follow you and support your blogging efforts!
