Learning the Letter Hh Crafts and Activities
Here are some easy crafts and activities my son did a few years ago as a Learning the Letter Hh theme.
I had bought candy hearts that tasted awful so instead of throwing them away, I used them in a fun craft. Free alphabet printables can be found all around the web. Once you find one that you like have the child paint glue inside the letters. Encourage them to try to stay inside the lines. Then add the candy hearts. You could also use heart stickers or stamps in place of the candy.
The red heart is cut from construction paper, painted with glue, and also has candy hearts stuck to it. This makes a fun learning shapes activity too!
I thought it would be cute to cut a slice of ham into an H-shape. Other fun ‘H’ foods are hamburgers, hot dogs, hash browns, honeydew melon, and hot chocolate.
My son received this Playdough Monkey as a birthday present. You squish the head down to make playdough hair – making it a perfect Letter Hh activity. He had a blast giving the monkey different colored hair and giving it a hair cut.
We also did a hair cutting craft and book. I can’t seem to figure out where I put the photos but will update when I either find it or take a new photo of it.
