Happy Halloween!
I made these Candy Corn (Inspired) Cupcakes this past week. They are super simple to make!
I used 1 box of white cake mix, white frosting, yellow paper cupcake holders, and candy corn.
-
Mix the cake mix as directed and then divide into 2 bowls.
-
I added yellow food coloring to 1 bowl and red & yellow food coloring to the other bowl to make orange.
-
Spoon 1/3 cup full with the yellow batter 1st and then add 1/3 cup full of the orange batter on top of that.
-
Bake as directed.
-
When cooled, spread on the frosting and top with a candy corn.
When you cut it open (or bite into it), it will resemble a candy corn!
If I make these again, I would make the orange brighter.
