Homemade Kazoo Craft
January 28th is National Kazoo Day! To celebrate, we made this Homemade Kazoo Craft I saw in the Toddler Busy Book (great book if you never read it!). My son painted a piece of paper which I glued to an empty paper towel tube after it dried. I sealed the end down with masking tape (the entire length of the tube). You could use empty an toilet paper tube, however, I did not feel comfortable using it since you put your mouth on it! Instead, I cut the paper towel tube tube in half and then put glue on one circular end of each tube. Then, I took a thin square piece of paper and glued it on. On the other end, use a hole puncher to punch a hole as far up as it will let you. Now you’re ready to make music with your little ones!
Fun project.
Im doing a music theme with mt kids this week and this is perfect! Thanks for sharing!
Fun idea! Both boys would love it!
What an adorable project! This is awesome and perfect for the kids! I really loved the materials you put to complete the features this kazoo. We did a DIY Kazoo project out of the same materials you used. You should check it out! 🙂
