Disney Pixar Cars Movie + Crafts/Activities
My son had a movie-themed playdate with his friend and they watched Disney Pixar’s Cars. I made the boys their own movie tickets I found over at Momma’s Playground (I just added in the date & time). Of course they dressed for the occasion and my son even has the cutest Lightning McQueen slippers that he received from a from a friend.
I did a Matchbox Car painting activity with my son awhile back and my friend has been talking about trying the activity with her son. I thought it would go perfect with the Cars theme. We covered the table with butcher paper, placed paint on paper plates, and let the boys pick 2 matchbox cars each to paint with. I printed Cars Coloring Pages for them to also paint on.

what a cute party we love cars i think once we get some little friends we will def. have a themed playdate. Thanks for sharing.
Wow – my son would love this! He's a big Cars fan too. This is a birthday party quality playdate!
The painting with cars activity never fails! I let my students do this a year ago, they had so much fun "driving" the cars and making a wonderful work of art! 🙂
I love the idea of the themed play date like that. You did a fantastic job of getting activities and snacks to coordinate. I love it!
Cute idea to make their own movie tickets. My eldest currently distrusts all movies (having been recently scared by one), so maybe this would help me get her excited about them again. 🙂
