Incredibly Cute Paper Shark Card for Father’s Day – Includes Template with Fun Shark Pun!
Are your kids obsessed with the Baby Shark song? Then they will love making this cute Daddy Shark card for Father’s Day! The printable card features an outline of the word ‘DAD’ and a shark template with a cute shark pun inside, “You Are JAWsome!”
Not only is this shark craft printable template cute for Father’s Day, it also makes a fun shark birthday card idea for dads.
Paper Shark Template And Card Supplies
- googly eyes (optional)
- scissors
- colored pencils or markers
- gluestick
- printer cardstock; white

How to Make a Shark Card For Dad
Print the DAD card and shark templates on cardstock.
Take the template with the DAD letters and fold it along to top edge of the letters. Then cut around the edge, leaving the fold intact.
Next, color the two letter D’s however you’d like. I used a jagged wave pattern to mimic the shark’s teeth and the ocean waves.
Now, color the shark’s face. To give the shark even more character, stick on the googly eyes.
Next, cut the shark face and the shark pun templates out.
Fold the You Are Jawsome! template in half and then glue the shark face to the top of it.
To finish the card, glue the cut shark saying piece (You Are Jawsome!) to the DAD card, where the ‘A’ would be.
Bonus: You can open the DAD part to write an additional message or just use it to stand the card up for display.
