Honey by Ezra Stein {Review}
From the author of the popular kids book, Leaves, David Ezra Stein has a new book following Bear’s long winter sleep. Titled, Honey, it follows Bear’s adventures of finding the one thing on his mind, honey!
While waiting for the bees to finally make some, everything that surrounds him reminds him of honey. I love the fun, descriptive writing which allows kids to feel like they are right there with Bear. The illustrations also showcase the story in detailed way that you can’t help by smile at them.
My daughter and I think this is a definite must read picture book. Be sure to check out our review of Leaves along with a fingerprint leaves silhouette art project inspired by the book.
Little Sister’s Review:
He was begging for honey because it was so hot out. Then he was saying words that describe honey. It’s cute. My favorite part was when the bear got to eat the honey. I took it to class and my teacher said it has nice illustrations.
