Printable Ocean Playdough Mats

These educational play dough mats are great for working on fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, pre-writing/tracing, ocean vocabulary, tactile play while encouraging imagination and creativity. They are perfect for use in morning tubs, centers, early finishers, an ocean unit, or a summer theme.

How to use: Print either the colored version or the black and white version. Laminate each sheet or use reusable dry erase pocket sleeves. Kids will read the “I can make a” sentence and then use a pencil or dry erase marker to trace the ocean animal word. Using different colored playdough, have the child roll snake shapes to form each animal.

Black and white version: I have also included an optional reference sheet for use with the black and white version. It can either be used as is or cut each colored animal design out and glue to the corresponding B&W sheet. Alternatively, kids may choose to color the ocean animals.
