Simple St. Patrick’s Day Snacks + a Shamrock Smoothie Recipe Kids Will Love
My kids loved the Shamrock Smoothie and St Patrick’s Day snacks I made for them! This green smoothie recipe is made only with healthy ingredients, so if you are looking for a healthy alternative to the other St Patrick’s Day kids snacks, this is fun.
How to Make a Green Shamrock Smoothie the Kids Will Love
Ingredients:
- honeydew melon
- apple juice
- orange juice
- ice
Blend all the ingredients together until you get a smoothie texture. Optional – add green sugar sprinkles on the top.
Make the shamrock cup by drawing the outline on the outside of a plastic cup with permanent marker. I placed my kids’ Shamrock Smoothie in clear plastic cups so the green smoothie would show through. The plastic tumblers were purchased at our local dollar store.
If making these for a group of kids, such as a party or for a playgroup, you could also write the children’s names on it.
Like last year, I made a cute gold coins snack by cutting up a banana. Simple, yet fun for little ones!
For a green St Patrick’s Day themed dessert, I gave them mint chocolate chip ice cream topped with rainbow sprinkles.

Ooh how fab. Relieved to see it was a green melon and that the kids didn't have to drink Spinach!

Thanks for sharing on Kids Get Crafty!

Maggy & Alissa
