Free Printable St. Patrick’s Day Activity Pack for Kids
Today’s post is a fun and FREE printable St. Patrick’s Day activity pack shared by contributor Deanna.
My daughter loves work books, coloring books, and activity books. She will use them in the car, at restaurants, waiting rooms or on simple afternoons while she lays on her bed. I love giving her activities that are specific for holidays, but I seem to have a stack of activity books from holidays that have passed that just sit there. It is a waste of money. I can save them for next year, but they take up space that I don’t have. That is when the brilliant idea to make holiday specific activity packs, like this one for St. Patrick’s Day, popped in my head.

This page is fun because there is no rules. Kids can decorate each leaf of the clover in a different pattern, as shown in the picture, or a different color. Older children could even draw a different St. Patrick’s Day scene in each leaf. This is helping to encourage imagination and creativity.
Pages 2-3: Leprechaun Drawing Prompts
The drawing prompts are perfect for encouraging creativity, just as above. Each page has a leprechaun, one girl and one boy. This is just the idea behind the picture and the child can take it from there. Whether they create a scene from Ireland, a pot of gold and a rainbow or the leprechaun’s house.
Pages 3-4: Leprechaun Writing Prompts
The writing prompts are a way to encourage children to go beyond St. Patrick’s Day in the ‘traditional, Hallmark way’. Each page has one opening line that will help get the child’s brain moving and the story will come onto the page in no time.
Page 5: Simple St. Patrick’s Day Themed Word Search
This is a simple word search with St. Patrick’s Day themed words. The letters are big for children who are just learning, but slightly older children may still enjoy it too. Time older children to see how fast they can find all of the words.
