My Pretty Playhouse Review
My kids were super excited to play with their new cardboard playhouse we received from the Cascades Boutique for review! They are also offering our blog readers a chance to win the My Pretty Playhouse.
What we love about the My Pretty Playhouse:
I have always wanted to get one of those expensive, plastic playhouses for my kids. We live in a small apartment where something of that size isn’t doable and we don’t have a backyard. This offers a cheaper alternative {$38 + free shipping!} and although it is somewhat large in size, it can be taken down easily, stored, and put back up another day.
It’s made from 100% recycled cardboard and can be recycled again when no longer needed.
The kids were able to color it however they wanted making it a fun, creative activity. My 5 year old and almost 2 year old have spent 4 different days coloring it already. It has kept them so occupied/busy and they still have the inside to color.
I already have plans to have them hang up their artwork to display on the inside; how cool is that in a 5 year old’s eyes?! They can change it out regularly.
They love playing inside it and have even taken naps in it, so cute! One of their favorite things to do with their playhouse is play peek-a-boo through all the windows. They laugh hysterically at this, especially when Papa gets involved. I think it’s great that it allows them to be creative and that it fosters their imaginations. We put a rug in it one day, sometimes they take little stools in there to sit on, they play with their toys & books while inside – the possibilites are endless!
My son talks about it all the time: how much he loves his new playhouse, how he wishes his buddy could be here so he could see how cool it is, how he wishes his Uncle was visiting so he could show it to him, and so on. He told me that I couldn’t take pictures until his coloring was finished {4 days later!}…… he, he.

I absolutely love that the children get to decorate it themselves! I have a very artistic 3.5 year old who LOVES to do stuff like this. She would die of excitement if she had a playhouse like that!

I also really like the wrapping paper – so pretty and eco, too
