Owl Craft Theme
First, my son fingerpainted an owl coloring page.

Next, he painted a wooden owl mask I found at Micheal’s. It was $1 (I used a 40% off coupon and purchased it for 60 cents). I found it in the Halloween section but have also seen other animals in non-holiday sections.
After it finished drying, I outlined some of the features with permanent markers.
We made owl sounds while he had fun looking through the owl’s eyes. He kept putting it up to his face backwards, he, he. I also found some cute owl songs to sing to him while holding the mask- he loved this! Click HERE to see the songs.
