Simple, Cute Paper Plate Teddy Bear Craft for Valentine’s Day
Looking for an easy Valentine’s Day craft for your kids, the classroom, or playgroup? How about making a sponge painted paper plate teddy bear craft!? This darling Valentine’s Day craft using paper plates and heart shapes is cute to give to someone special with the phrase, “I Love You Bear-Y Much!” written on the back.
Sponge Painted Paper Plate Teddy Bear Valentine’s Day Craft

Supplies:
- Paper Plate
- Construction Paper
- Paint
- Jumbo Wiggly Eyes*
- Glitter Foam Hearts*
- Scissors
- Sponge
- Glue
- Black Marker
Instructions:
Place brown paint on a small plate or dish. Dip a sponge into the paint and then dab it on the paper plate. Repeat until the entire paper plate is covered. Let dry.
Cut an oval shape from construction paper, then glue on as a bear snout.
Cut two heart shapes from brown construction paper + two smaller hearts from pink construction paper. Glue on the top of the plate as ears.
Glue on two jumbo wiggly eyes.
Add the foam sticker as the bear’s nose. Draw a mouth.
Write, ‘I Love You Bear-y Much!’ on the back of the paper plate.
