Paint Playdate
My son had a Painting Playdate last week with his friend. They made Handprint Fish Canvases and did a Stomp Painting Activity. The boys started with the canvases (you can read more about it on my other blog). They painted the blue background and while it was drying, they moved on to the next activity.
We laid down butcher paper and placed paint on paper plates. They stepped on plate and then walked all over the paper. They loved this!!! This is actually the 2nd time we have done Stomp Painting. The 1st time was a little different and we knew that we wanted to let the boys be in their swimsuits for it to make clean up easier. They had a blast running through the sprinkler and playing with the water table afterwards!
When they were done playing in the water, we went inside and finished the canvases. We made handprint fish, thumbprint fish, and fingerprint bubbles. We also put their names and the date.
