Have you heard of TogetherBox? They are a fun company that mails boxes filled with crafts and activities for the whole family to enjoy together. We were sent their balloon activities box to do during family time and then share our experience with all of you.
The kids are always excited to get ‘happy mail’ and they were super excited to open our TogetherBox (their logo is adorable!).
Inside were all the essentials needed to create activities around balloons along with a mini instruction booklet. The instructions were simple and included photo examples.
At the end were even more suggested activities besides the 4 main ones. My kids are obsessed with balloons so it was a perfect fit.
The 1st activity was a Balloon Ninjas game. The kit even included the permanent marker and tape. We made marshmallow shooters from cups which we then used to feed the ninjas. I turned ours into a math activity by writing numbers (points) on the back so Big Brother could practice adding. We had a blast trying to get all the different colored ninjas and I love that it was something that my hubby could enjoy with us. To make it a little harder, we made the ninjas swing before trying to feed them.
The kids also had fun pretending to play fight with them.
Little Sister couldn’t resist eating the marshmallows!
Another one of the activities was making a balloon water fountain. They thought it was awesome so I kept changing the color of the water. It was fun to see it mix too.
Here is a short video we took of our fountain:
TogetherBox is a monthly subscription (other options available) and right now you can use the coupon code ‘artsy’ to receive 50% off your 1st month. Their goal is to make family time fun by sending a box filled with activities/supplies that appeal to all different ages.
My kids also would have loved this glow activity box that Mama Smiles posted about! You can also take a peek at their sample boxes by heading over to the TogetherBox website.
