How to Use the Fall Counting Cards
The leaf and animal counters are a great way to add in scissors practice. Have the child cut along the dashed lines. For beginning scissor users, cut the long edges for them so you are left with long strips. They can then cut them into sqares easily. You may also cut the card sheets along the gray line.
For the number cards, you will only need the leaves and acorns, but feel free to use the woodland animals counters to. Otherwise set them aside to use in the next activity.
Have your little one practice counting to ten by placing the correct number of leaf counters onto the Fall counting cards. That’s it! You can have them do the cards in order or mix them up.
*Craft Tip: Laminate the cards before cutting to give them durability so they can use them over and over again.
How to Play the Fall Memory Match Game
Place all 24 square tiles facedown and play memory matching! Kids can play this together by taking turns, or they may choose to play by themselves. Aren’t the woodland animals just darling?
