Preschool Graduation Craft
I can’t believe my son is graduating from preschool in a couple weeks – the time goes way too fast! He has been attending a class twice a week this past year and he adores his preschool friends and teacher. I am a bit sad that he may not be attending the same school as them for kindergarten and am hoping that at least one of them will be. He talks about them all the time and always wants to take things to school to show his teacher or can’t wait to tell her something. We are very thankful for his enthusiasm towards learning and plan to have him do 4 of the 12 summer camps they have. They are each one week long for 3 hours a day in different themes. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he gets his teacher for some of them – she is so great at her job and always has such fun crafts (& handprint crafts here) that it will be a race to get a spot before it fills up….. Lol!
Thanks for being such a wonderful teacher Mrs. S!
Preschool Graduation Craft
The kids have been busy practicing for their graduation ceremony. I was so excited when she told me that they are going to wear little caps and gowns – how cute!!! This past week the kids made a graduation themed paper craft of themselves. Again, I am so impressed with how much my son’s scissor skills have improved over the past months. It was the one thing he struggled with before attending school. He would get so frustrated and give up right way. His teacher mentioned that all the crafts the kids go home with are cut by them.
The craft is started with a piece of white paper with a red cap & gown glued on top. They colored the rest. I love the little curling ribbon as a tassel. Such a cute touch!
His teacher was explaining the photo area she was making for the big day. It sounds so cool and I can’t wait to takes photos of my handsome little man with his proud smile. Be sure to check back here next month to see it; I am positive it will be an amazing photo-op since her craft ideas are always the best!
