Black Cat Crafts for a Fun Halloween Art Playdate!
We had a Black Cat Themed Art Playdate in the park last week that turned out really cute and was fun for both the kids and us adults. They made paper plate black cat crafts as well as handprint black cats. Beforehand heading to the park, I put together a few craft supplies for the kids: black paint, paper, paintbrushes, paper plates, paper, glue, scissors, foam sticker shapes, and pre-cut whiskers.
Paper Plate Black Cat Crafts
Miranda- 5 years old
Samantha- 5 yrs old
The kids made these adorable paper plate black cats. I found this idea over at Crafts by Amanda. Head over there for the full instructions on how to make them.
Big Brother – almost 4 yrs old
Here is another version of a Black Cat made from a paper plate that I helped my son make at home. We used foam stickers, but of course google eyes would be cute too! He choose to have the nose and the eyes match.
Handprint Black Cats
They also made handprint black cats. You can read more about them on our Fun Handprint Art blog and also see our footprint black cat (popular on Pinterest!).
