Happy New Year’s (a little late!). Here are the fun crafts I made with my toddler:
I made him his own pair of New Year’s Glasses to wear. I had some foam glasses leftover from a craft kit (purchased at Wal-mart during the summer) and had my son decorate it with foam stickers. I cut 2011 from a piece of blue foam paper and taped it to the top of his glasses. These were his favorite of all the crafts!
We also made a Paper Plate New Year’s Hat. I used one of the sturdier/thicker paper plates and cut around the middle circle 3/4ths of the way. My little guy colored it with markers and decorated it with foam stickers.
I helped him make a New Year’s picture by writing the year 2011 with glue which he then sprinkled with glitter. We did the same for the fireworks. He finished by adding happy face stickers.
He also colored a New Year’s card for Papa and a Coloring page for Grandma. I printed them from the Activity Village website.
