Ingredients:
- cantaloupe
- Greek yogurt
- orange juice
- ice
Instructions:
Keep in mind that the more ice you add, the more watered down it will taste. If possible, use crushed ice or smaller ice cubes. I love our Ninja Professional Blender! It blends the ice without a problem and doesn’t leave you with small chunks hiding in your smoothie.
I made both the kids a smoothie by adding 2-3 cups of cantaloupe, a cup of ice, greek yogurt (4-6 oz), and orange juice. You don’t need to add much juice and can always add a splash more if needed during the blending process. This is especially important if you would like the smoothies to be thick with that awesome texture like shown in our photos. However, for a toddler you may wish to add a bit more to make it easier for them to drink through a straw.
Blend all ingredients together for about a minute. Serve in your favorite smoothie cups with fun decorative straws
. Garnish with a couple pieces of cantaloupe.
