Rainbow Crafts and Activities
My toddler has been busy doing rainbow crafts and activities this past week. They are great for spring and St Patrick’s Day and make learning about numbers and colors fun.
I found this free, printable Pot-of-gold/rainbow Puzzle over at Our Worldwide Classroom (she has a pretty big list of St Patrick’s Day printables that you can download for free). Make it last longer by laminating it.
I printed a Rainbow Number & Counting Matching Activity for him to play with (he loves matching and he loves counting!!!) You can print it for free over at Confessions of a Homeschooler along with TONS of other rainbow & letter Rr activities. She also has different uses for the above activity.
My toddler colored this Color by Number Rainbow…. great practice of so many skills for his age!
As an art project, he made a Fingerprint Rainbow. Hop on over to our other blog to see how I made a rainbow template for him to follow.
I placed the printable activities in their own envelopes to save for future use (and any future siblings!). On the front of the envelope I placed a tiny picture of the activity making it easier to know what is inside. All of our envelopes are organized in a box (a drawer would work too!)
