Fun with Hibernation in Preschool!
Which animals hibernate?
Such an easy question with a complicated answer. While some are traditionally called true hibernators, we go by how long an animal sleeps in the cold months, their heart rate and whether they have to conserve energy and food in order to survive. Wikipedia breaks it down into simple sections if you’d like to learn more. Some animals that hibernate include bears, rodents, chipmunks, some squirrels, skunks and hedgehogs. Below we are sharing fun activities for a preschool hibernation theme.
