Moon and Planets Paintings from a preschooler
We have been busy doing an Outer Space Theme this past week. Here are 2 of the paintings that my 3 year old made.
I put diluted white paint in a spray bottle and placed 4 sheets of black paper on top of newspaper on the floor. I also put a stool for my little guy to stand on while he sprayed the paper. Make sure it is in the mist position and not shooting out in a straight line.
I had my son paint circles to make his Planets Painting. When it finished drying, I made rings around the planet of his choice with glue and then he sprinkled on glitter in the color of his choice.
He made a Moon Painting on one too!

They turned out beautiful! I love your idea of painting the planets instead of using construction paper circles. Thanks for linking the idea back to my site!
Wow! Two space crafts (linked up) in one week and both beautifully wonderful! Something we will have to make as well. They look fantastic! Thank you as always for linking up to Kids Get Crafty! Maggy
I love the idea of using a spray bottle to make the "stars!" So creative….I’m working on a sort of directory of space theme ideas, so I’ll be linking up for sure 🙂
