Having a Ball with a Toddler Ball Pit – Sibling Fun!
My 1 year old daughter loves to empty boxes and containers out and sit in them! One day the kids were throwing balls into a crate she had emptied & Baby Sister decided it would be more fun to sit in it. This, of course, upset Big Brother. To turn his attention away from being mad at her, I had him place the balls in around her. We collected all the balls as well as alphabet blocks from around our home & buried Baby Sister with them.
They both thought this was hilarious! Not only did this make a great sibling activity & distract him from being upset, it made a fun sensory activity for Baby Sister. There were hard & soft balls, bumpy, smooth, noisy, all different sizes, & even one that lights up with a song & shakes practically right out of her teeny hands!
This reminded me of the "ball pits" they had back in the day at restaurants. Only your balls are a variety of colors, shapes and textures! She couldn't be happier! How fun!
And a lot cleaner….lol! Thank you 🙂
Cuties!

This is great – my two do this as well. But for some reason my 13 month old always wants to sit in the half full box of toys and get the rest added on top of her.

Thank you for linking up with Tuesday Tots this week
@Cerys – That sounds fun too!
