Gingerbread Boy Craft
I saw this giant Gingerbread Boy & Girl Craft over at Superheroes and Princesses and knew that I had to make one with my little guy.
I got out our big roll of butcher paper and had my son lay on his back over it (not sure why he thought he needed to close his eyes…lol).
Then, I traced the outline of his body- he thought this was hilarious and laughed the whole time. He kept going back to match his body to it and even had to pose with the finished hanging gingerbread version of himself exactly the way it was hanging up (see 1st photo). Too cute!
The kids over at Superheroes & Princesses are old enough where they were able to draw their features in with crayons; I decided to cut pieces out of craft foam and contact paper for my toddler to place on himself.
His finished Gingerbread Version of Himself proudly displayed on our front door.
I love the way yours came out!!! It is adorable. Thanks for the link.
This really made me smile! How fun. How cute! I would LOVE for you to join us at Kids Get Crafty (every Wednesday on Red Ted Art) – Hope to see you there! Maggy
