Homemade Pipe Cleaner Fireworks Stamp Craft for Kids
I wanted to do a fireworks painting craft with my son before we go to see the real thing and decided to do this one from the Family Fun Magazine (they have changed their website since then so I have linked to instructions to a different video tutorial below). This homemade pipe cleaner fireworks stamp craft can be done with many different ages – perfect for a 4th of July playdate where the kids might be toddlers or kids that are even 8 years old.
You will need:
- pipe cleaners
- paint
- black construction paper
- scissors
See how to make the Homemade Pipe Cleaner Fireworks Stamp here.
It is actually a video of how to make it into a shirt, but thought it would be just as fun to do on paper. Two different mommy and me groups that I belonged to have used the homemade stamps to create the shirts and have turned out great. I would definitely recommend trying the shirt version! I liked this fireworks painting craft because it was simple enough to make with my 2 year old and I already had the supplies.
We both made stamped fireworks crafts. I made mine as a way of showing my little guy what to do.
Another festive 4th of July activity that was a big hit with the kids is this red, white, and blue layered kids drink and also this handprint and footprint eagle craft.
What ways have you tried for making homemade fireworks stamps? I have seen them made with toilet paper tubes, straws, dot markers, and more!
these are so cute and so easy. 🙂
