DIY Sidewalk Chalk Paint
We decided to try the Sidewalk Chalk Paint craze that has been floating around the blogosphere. It’s so simple to make! I love how vibrant our paint turned out. My son and his friends loved it and we will definitely be making it again.
How to make sidewalk chalk paint:
Find all those way too little pieces of chalk and place them by color inside a Zip-Loc bag (we just used the same bag over & over again). Take a hammer and smash it into a fine dust.
Place the chalk dust into a small container; we used empty baby food plastic containers. Mix with water. That’s it! Repeat with different colors.
Let the kids paint away! It won’t show up a bright color until it dries.
Above is a photo of the cute drawing made by the girl I was babysitting.
The kids also did a splatter painting in the photo below.
What fun craft recipes have you made?
Great idea! Gotta try this.
What a great way to use up broken chalk!!!
What fun! My 14 month old son would do much better at painting the sidewalks than coloring on them anyway!
oh, we have lots of old chalk! This would be fun for these cooler October days to enjoy being outside!

Thanks for linking to the Sunday Showcase & hope to see you again this week!

Bern
http://momto2poshlildivas.blogspot.com/search/label/Sunday%20Showcase
