Clothespin Butterfly Fun Food Idea for Valentine’s Day
Aren’t these cute? This clothespin butterfly fun food idea is perfect for Valentine’s Day. I made them for my cutie pies – they love fun surprises like this!
Supplies needed:
- Clothespins
- Pipe Cleaners
- Valentine’s baggies (or use clear) I found ours at Dollar
- Candy or a different snack of choice
How to make the clothespin butterfly snacks
Loosely fill the baggie with candy/snack. We used red gummy hearts, Hershey kisses, and conversation hearts for ours. Grab it in the center so that there is an equal amount of candy on both sides and forms a gap. Twist it a few times. Place a clothespin there. Cut 2 antennas from a pipe cleaner and shape them. Place inside the top of the clothespin. Optional: Add googly eyes.
Make it even prettier by having the kids paint the clothespins or decorate it with patterned paper and Mod Podge. These are fun anytime of the year, as a party favor, and school lunches.
Thanks to CraftProjectIdeas.com for providing us with the (free!) clothespins.
